It all started September 2014—when fate (and a Penn State vs. Rutgers football game) brought us to McGillicuddy’s in Manayunk, known by locals as “Cuddy’s”. Whitney was out with her college besties, Kim and Kiara, while Jordan was with his boys, Raf and Orth. Amidst the buzz of the game, we locked eyes from across the room.

A conversation sparked over our shared love of 90’s music, and from that moment on, we became inseparable. From movie nights to exploring Philly’s incredible food and drink scene, we quickly fell in love bonding over our shared passion for travel, exploring and our love for nature—finding joy in simple moments like gardening together.

Fast forward to a beautiful evening when Jordan took Whitney to Cuddy’s to grab her favorite drink, a Malibu Bay Breeze, a special reminder of the drink she's always loved and had the night they met. They then took a walk through Pretzel Park to “catch an Uber” for what Whitney thought was a date night. It was in that special park where Jordan got down on one knee and asked Whitney to spend forever with him.

Philly is at the heart of our story—both born in the city, with Jordan growing up in West Philly and Whitney remaining connected to her Philly roots. Together, we’ve built a life in Manayunk, just blocks from where it all began.

Through the years, our love has only grown stronger, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter together. We're finally tying the knot (pun intended, lol), and can’t wait to spend our special day with all of you!
